Chateau Třebešice is a small renaissance country chateau with its own home farm, a wonderful complex of landmark buildings from various ages, on extensive grounds rich of water features and gorgeous gardens. Nature and culture here are bound together in an unique mix.

Castle Žleby

Žleby – a magnificent romantic residence of the Auersperg family, in which there is still a large collection of weapons, luxury furniture with original objects of daily use. The castle offers visitors an excursion into the everyday life of the aristocracy in the 19th century.

Pilgrimage Church of St John of Nepomuk

This pilgrimage church stands on top of Zelená Hora (Green Mountain). Constructed on a star-shaped plan, it is the most unusual work by the great architect Jan Blazej Santini, whose highly original style falls between neo-Gothic and Baroque.

Stages Level

Regular Stages

Regular stages are designed for avid cyclists who love to ride every cm of the loop. They are long and on many different kind of terrains. Sometimes specific sections of the route need good sense of orientation and love for maps. E-bikes strongly recommended for occasional cyclists.

Shorter Variants

Shorter variants are designed for more casual cyclists and families and combine bike and train and the easiest terrain when possible. If trains allow us we like to design two shorter versions: one slightly longer for those wh owould like to challenge themselves and one much shorter for those who want to play it safe.

Road Bike Stages

Road Bike stage are designed specifically for racing bikes so are normally long as the regular stages or more and they follow small back roads with good asphalt as much as possible. Easy gravel or patched asphalt sections are present from time to time when unavoidable but for real short distances.

Nothing in particular to say about today apart from : enjoy the ride!

Start: Havlíčkuv Brod

Finish: Zelená hora in Žďár nad Sázavou

You start in Kutná Hora and take a direct TRAIN to Havlíčkův Brod. Here we recommend going through the city as it has a beautiful center and some really great sights. After admiring its architecture you will start cycling towards Žďár nad Sázavou. You start by going east on the cycling path number 19 leading out of the city. You will follow this cycling path through the countryside showing you some classic Czech villages and nature. Then you arrive to Přibyslav where we recommend a great place to have lunch or a quick snack. In Přibyslav it is also worth it to stop by the chateau, they offer historical expositions. After that you jump back into your saddles and join the cycling path number 19 once more. This time it will lead you through the beautiful banks of the Sázava river. Those will take you all the way to Žďár nad Sázavou. The finish line for today.
